April 17, the presentation of the new project of the UNESCO Chair — the online educational platform “Digital Volunteers”

The audience of the presentation was representatives of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO, the UNESCO Chairs of the Institute of Asia and Africa and the TISBI Management University, students and staff of the State University of Management, as well as participants of other projects of the UNESCO Chair of State University Management.

The presentation was opened by the vice-rector of SUM, executive director of the UNESCO Chair Svetlana Malkarova.

Students of the UNESCO Chair spoke in detail about the features of the platform, content and its advantage among other resources.

The selection of volunteers is carried out through the implementation of the «mutual assistance index». Users interaction and helping each other are aspects that the concept of “Digital Volunteers” encompasses. UNESCO Chair presents the platform which expansion speed will depend directly on users. On a voluntary basis, each interested person will be able to contribute to the education of other people and thereby increase their “mutual assistance index”.

Leading presentations spoke in detail about plans for promoting the platform and further development of the project.
